Google Play Music All-Access
Google Play Music All-Access is a music streaming service from Google. All-Access means that you can stream any music available on Google Play Music without any restrictions. Of course, this service is not for free as the artists and the whole music industry wants to get some money as well. So this All-Access package will cost 9,99 €/month or 7,99 €/month when you subscribe before January 15th. In addition, there is a 30 days trail so you can test it out for one month for free.
Lets take a look now what you get for that money.
Functions of Google Play Music
With Google Play Music you can access lots of music, handle your own music, manage playlists, explore new artists and many more things. Google Play Music is available as app for your Android (and iOS) smartphone or tablet as well as on PC, in fact, it runs in a browser so basically nearly everywhere where you have an up to date browser available.
Two of my top features are the following:
- Upload your own music.
You can upload your own music (up to 20.000 songs) and take this tracks, albums and artists as basis for custom radio stations to explore tons of new music. - Download everything.
You can download everything to your mobile device (as long as you have memory available) to listen to the music even when your out, traveling, commuting, or where ever you want.

Radio is one of the greatest features. You can select an artist, a song, a album, a genre, basically what ever you want and let Google create a radio stream for you based on your selection. This radio stream you can further edit, you can skip songs, rearrange them or just let them play straight. You can also store this selection as a Playlist.

My personal conclusion
My personal opinion on this streaming service is that it's absolutely worth to get. I was using it a lot over the last weeks and really liked it. This way I discovered lots of great music from artists I did not know about before or that I just forgot about by time. Also I was listening to a lot of very old songs that called lots of memories in me as well as new songs that inspired me.
For me this is a great service and I am going to keep the subscription running.
To get started, just check out the Google Play Store or follow this link. Don't forget, there are 30 days free trail so if you have not checked it out already, maybe it's a good idea to do so.
As a side note, I like to listen to music while I am working (or writing this blog). Mostly I am listening to more chilling, mainly instrumental music in that case. When I am at home, then I usually connect my Nexus 7 (2012) tablet with my sound-system by a Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter and just stream it over the tablet.
